Every jobsite brings risk of head impact. But almost no impact is perpendicular to the skull. Oblique angles cause “brain torque,” where the skull spins around the brain – creating the vast majority of concussion and brain injury. Nuro is the only technology designed to mitigate brain torque by reacting and adapting to each unique impact.

The toughest governmental safety requirement for construction helmets is known as the ANSI Type II Standard. While most construction helmets are content to meet this rating, Nuro technology goes far beyond. 

The tests required to meet governmental standards simply do not replicate what really happens on the jobsite. This is why we use our own extensive lab and decades of experience to design tests that mimic what really happens out there. When we say a Nuro helmet is “Jobsite Rated,” we mean it.

Because the Nuro Core is 93% porous, it’s remarkably breathable, helping construction workers stay cool and comfortable, even during the hardest work in the highest temps and blazing sun. Vitally important, because a helmet cannot protect the worker if the worker doesn’t wear it.
